Wedges are going to continue to be trendy this spring summer. Don't you love it that some trends stick around a little longer than others? I can pull out my wedge sandals I got last summer. But no doubt I will get new ones (with a bit more platform).

Real false lashes

Andrea Mod Lashes (Black) Style 70 $3.10. Apparently these are made with sterilized, 100% human hair. Are they actually eyelashes from other people's eyelids? I wonder how they feel. Probably really soft. They do look really long and dark and thick -- the requirements for the mod look.

Good shopping trip

You know I was obsessed with babydoll jumper dresses earlier. I finally found one that has all the elements that I wanted -- red, big buttons, tiny ruchings in the front, and semi-heavy fabric so it hangs well. We went shopping for our niece's birthday presents last night. I didn't plan on shopping for myself. It was a surprise found (don't you love it when that happens? :D). And it's a great outfit to go to a 10-year-old girl's birthday party in today.

Bliss Manicure's Best Friend

Arrgh, it's bitter bitter cold. I have the driest hands and cuticles in the world. I can have hangnails on all my fingers if I don't religiously apply hand cream, especially in the dry office air (and the cheap ass hand wash in the washroom doesn't help either). When my cuticles aren't neat, I don't even want to put on nail polish 'cause it just looks sad. I'm so glad I picked up this Bliss hand cream. It really is manicure's best friend. It exfoliates, rehydrates and conditions the cuticle area with butter, jojoba oil and green tea extracts, my cuticles look much smoother and neater. You don't need much of this stuff to cover both hands. Darn hangnails, be gone!

New dress

I just bought this chiffon dress on eBay. I hope it looks as pretty as it does in the picture, especially the color turns out right. I love the light blue (my favorite color) shade. If it turns out great, I'll add the seller to my "favorite seller list" and I'll recommend it to my fashionista friends here.

I'll be wearing it lots in the summer for sure. But as you know I love doing the layering with flowy dresses in the winter. Girls, any advice for me how to layer this one? What kind of top and what color? I know I tend to stick with one certain style. I love to hear all kinds of suggestions :D

Fashion Week - more favorites

Malandrino Fall 2007.

I love her collection, a mix of mod retro and sexy sleekiness. Love the coats with big black buttons! And that blue dress is heavenly.

Temperley Fall 2007.

A Blend of girlie and funky, which I absolutely love. Those bubble skirts and balloon shorts are so much fun. And I love that the models are sporting the rocker-chick laced-up ankle boots (although I in real life would never wear such boots, I just don't think I could pull it off).

Michael Kors Fall 2007.

Oh, the beauty, the luxury, the glamour! I'm always a big fan of Michael Kors. Only he can make a grey dress look so fabulous. The shimmery gun metal jacket is so different from other silver/metallic jackets that it is more chic and sophistication. And I love the babushkas!
