Heated eyelash curler

Heated eyelash curlers are an ingenious invention. If you have't got one, you must get one!! I cannot live without mine. My eyelashes stick out straight and are really stubborn to curl. With my heated curler, I can curl my lashes without exerting any force and they stay curled much longer. And it really helps when I apply mascara too. Have you had the experience in where you diligently your curled lashes, the weight of the mascara just made your lashes uncurl themselves? That happened to me all the time! Regular curlers can never get my lashes as curled up as the heated one, not to mention they make my lashes fall out if I squeeze too hard, which makes me really mad 'cause I don't have that many lashes to begin with. Don't be afraid if you think the heated curlers are dangerous to use. They are just as safe as other curlers (well, as long as you don't stick it in your eyes). If you love the big wide-eyed doll look like me, you gotta get a heated lash curler :)

Pretty Shakira

Shakira looks so pretty and elegant in that red dress, not her usual sexy hippie style. I wish I could get my hands on this dress, I especially like the bow in the front. I found a couple of dresses at ever-pretty.com that are a little similar, both have the pretty bow.

Romance

Being a girly girl, I love clothes of romantic shapes and textures. There was so much of it on the runway for spring and summer -- cascading ruffles, flounces and florals in silk, satin, chiffon, lace. They are perfect for luncheons and date nights.

Pretty rose

Elle Canada March 2007 issue says rosy pink is THE hue for the face at the moment. It's soft, subtle and natural-looking. I think it just flatters almost everybody, it's not really a trend. We can all use some rosy cheeks and pink luscious lips.

Such a delicately pretty top! The sleeves do look like petals of a lily, which is one of my favorite flowers. I love romantic tops. Undeniably, they make you feel ultra-feminine and sexy.

Lipcolor with SPF is smart

I must wear suncreen everyday. For lips, I used to put on chapstick with SPF first, then lipcolor. Now I only buy lipcolor with SPF (15 as the minimum), which is convenient and healthy. It really saves your lips from sun damage. Nobody wants those ugly vertical lines on the lips. There's more and more selections on SPF lip gloss out there. But not every brand has them yet. I wish to see more from some of the best brands on the market (like M.A.C.!). Some of my favorites are:


Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15 #06 Melon $14.50. I love this one, it's very very moisturizing. And the color is beautiful. It looks pretty red, but when you put it on, it's so sheer it makes your lips looks unbelievably plump and dewy. The watermelon color is so flattering to all skin tones.


Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Tint SPF 15 Twilight Shimmer
$16. Bobbi Brown has some really fantastic lip glosses with SPF. The texture's really smooth and not sticky at all. It has a subtle shimmer, which I really like.


Bobbi Brown Lip Tint SPF 15 Tea Tint $16. I also love this shade. The pretty berry color is just perfect.

Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15. And you know my new favorite one dollar lip glosses from e.l.f. They're moisturizing, non-sticky, great shades and lots of shine.

I also have some lipsticks with SPF 20 from Neutrogena, which are also very good.

As much as one likes polka dot, one must be careful not to be overloaded on them. I have a black polka dot dress, I like wearing it with my black skinny jeans.



Juicy Couture Polka Dot Flutter Sleeve Blouse with Tie $94. It's a pretty top. But if it was just on a hanger by itself, I'd think "libraian". Pairing it with a pair of fitted cuffed shorts, well, she's a young flirty sexy librarian.



Luna Polka Dot Signature Cut Bikini Yellow $165. I know it's a little early to discuss swimwear as we're getting the fury from the winter gods right now. But this is too cute. The model's rocking bod is even more impressive. Gyawd!

Oh I must say Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera looks beautiful in this magnificent polka dot gown. Honestly it's probably a pretty hard look to pull off. I probably wouldn't think of putting on a big bright yellow belt. But I think she looks gorgeous in it.
