Fashion Week underway!

Thanks to our own Julie of the Coutorture Network and teamsugar, I'll be able to share with you tons of coverage from the Fashion Week for Spring 2008 -- videos, interviews and photos. Enjoy!

Let's start off with the BCBG Max Azria show. LOVE it! I'm a big fan of BCBG, it rarely disappoints. This time is no exception, beautiful flowy dresses and blouses that shows off a woman's feminine curves.

And young and talented designer Jason Wu's collection and Julie's interview with him. What do you think of his clothes? Quite girly, a litte kitten-ish and schoolgirl-ish, very sexy.

And here are a slide show of Toni Maticevski's show. For those of you who aren't too familiar with this young Melbourne-based designer, he "studied fashion at RMIT University graduating with First Class Honours. After graduating he won a Fashion Group International Award resulting in a placement with Donna Karen in New York. Maticevski shockingly turned down an extended position at Donna Karen, deeming the power house creatively draining. Maticevski left for Paris to work two seasons at Cerruti. Maticevski returned to Melbourne in 1998 to launch his own label, and was awarded the Melbourne Fashion Festival New Designer Award in 2002" (wikipedia.org). I'm loving the elaborate gowns in this show. They are just exquisite.

More stuff to come!
