How to be beach-party pretty from head to toe
Everybody loves beach parties. I just wish I lived close to a beach so I could go there every other weekend. We know beach parties aren't just about swimming, drinking, dancing and having fun with your friends, you gotta look HOT, effortlessly! Napoleon Perdis, makeup artist and present of Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics gives advice on how to have gorgeous skin in Loulou Magazine June issue. With his new bronzers and sunless tanners now ont he market, Napoleon knows exactly what it takes to be a beach bombshell.
COVER ALL. Sporting a bikini on the beach means that most of your body will be exposed, so apply self-tanner for a healthy, bronzed glow. Once it's soaked in, remember to apply a generous amount of sunscreen 15 minutes before you hit the beach.
PRIME YOURSELF. Always apply a moisturizing primer to your face before you put on sunscreen. This will leave your skin looking supple and soft. Plus, it'll allow you to go makeup free.
EMPHASIZE YOUR EYES. Brush on a few of coast of waterproof mascara to make your eyes stand out.
BE CHEEKY. Soft pink or apricot on the apples of your cheeks will look sweet against your skin.
POUT IT OUT. If you've only got room for one cosmetics item in your beach bag, make it lipstick. Touch-ups are quick and easy, and the shine and colour adds a touch of sexiness.
LIGHT UP. There are three specific areas you'll want to highlight to amplify your radiant glow: browbones, cheeks and shoulders. Apply a product like Light Patrol to those key areas for a gorgeous, reflective shimmer.
